Mortons Gap Man Charged with DUI & Drug Offenses

Clay, KY (Webster County) - The Kentucky State Police has charged a Mortons Gap man with DUI and drug-related offenses after conducting a traffic stop.
On Monday, March 21, at approximately 1:32 a.m., Trooper Cody Kromer conducted a traffic stop on a Ford pickup truck, operated by Tyler K. Fox, 25, Mortons Gap, KY, for a traffic violation on KY 109 in Clay.
During the course of the traffic stop, Tpr. Kromer determined that Fox was under the influence of a controlled substance. During a search of the vehicle, Tpr. Kromer located a case containing a plastic bag with suspected crystal methamphetamine in it, as well as three syringes. Fox was arrested without incident.
Fox was lodged in the Webster County Detention Center and charged with the following offenses:
- Rear License Not Illuminated
- DUI 1st Offense
- Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 3rd Offense - Meth
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Execution of Bench Warrants (3 counts)
