Update: Fatal Collision on U S Highway 62

Date of News Release: 10/10/2016

Ohio County, KY. (October 08, 2016) – Jamie Watson was traveling West on U S Highway 62 in his 2005 Chevy Cavalier while Cody Carlisle was traveling East on U S Highway 62 on his 2001 Honda Motorcycle. Watson was attempting to make a left turn onto KY 1245 and did not see any traffic. While turning left onto KY 2145, Mr. Carlisle laid his motorcycle over and the motorcycle collided with the Chevy Cavalier on the passenger side. Mr. Carlisle was pronounced deceased by the Ohio County Coroner at 6:58 p.m. on October 08, 2016. Detective Chris Baker is investigating this fatal and the investigation is still on going.
