Trafficking in Controlled Substance

Hartford, KY. (September 22nd, 2016) - Kentucky State Police were conducting a traffic safety checkpoint on Ky 69 in Ohio County when they encountered Richard M. Roby of Utica, KY. Mr. Roby had miscellaneous drug paraphernalia and marijuana in plain view in the bed of his truck and was operating the truck with a suspended license. Upon further investigation, Mr. Roby was found to be in possession of a large amount of suspected methamphetamine. Mr. Roby was placed under arrest and transported to Ohio County Detention Center.
