Single vehicle collision with injuries

Hartford, KY. (July 16, 2016) - At 7:03 PM the Kentucky State Police responded to a single vehicle collision with injuries at the 2300 block of State Route 69 N. Emily Dixon was operating her 1999 Chevrolet pickup Northbound on 69 N, through a curve, when the passenger side tires dropped off the edge of the roadway. Ms. Dixon overcorrected causing her to lose control of her vehicle which resulted in the pickup overturning. Ms. Dixon and her passenger, Jenny Burden, were transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision. KSP was assisted by Ohio County Sheriff's Office, Hartford Fire Department, and Ohio County EMS.
