Indiana Pursuit Leads Into Kentucky

HENDERSON, KY (July 05, 2016) - Troopers with the Kentucky State Police Post 16-Henderson were notified by Warrick County Indiana authorities just after midnight of a high speed vehicle pursuit heading towards Kentucky. Warrick County officials were in the process of investigating the specific vehicle when the operator fled the scene. The Indiana pursuit crossed the I-69 Twin Bridges in Henderson Kentucky to US 41A. The driver then took KY 2253 to Whitelick Road before wrecking at the intersection of Whitelick Road and Tapp Duncan Road in the Corydon community of Henderson County. The driver fled the scene and remained on the loose for several hours before turning himself in to Kentucky State Police troopers around 7:30am.
As a standard procedure, the unidentified driver has being taken to Methodist Hospital in Henderson to be checked out before being taken to jail.
