Update: KSP Investigating Body Found in Ohio River
Date of News Release: 05/13/2016
(OWENSBORO, KY) -- An autopsy of the unknown deceased woman has concluded today in Louisville. Kentucky State Police detectives have identified the woman as Darcy L. Hess, 51 of Cannelton Indiana.
The investigation is still in the early phases; however, detectives are very confident this particular case is unrelated to the two other bodies located in the Ohio River this week.
With the assistance of the medical examiner, evidence obtained and multiple interviews, KSP detectives say foul play is not suspected in her death. Detectives are looking into the real possibility that suicide is the likely cause.
