Man Arrested for Manufacturer Meth in Henderson County

(HENDERSON, KY) - On Monday, February 29, 2016, Kentucky State Police troopers arrested and charged 47 year-old Shane Kirkman of Adamsville, TN with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st; Unlawful Possession of a Methamphetamine Precursor; Possession of Marijuana and Drug Possession/Paraphernalia.
The investigation was initiated by the Kentucky State Police on February 18, 2016 after Kirkman arrived at Methodist Hospital in Union County with injuries sustained from an alleged methamphetamine lab explosion. Authorities investigated the allegations and confirmed the methamphetamine lab explosion happened at the residence of 13000 block of Gebhart Latta Road in Uniontown (Henderson County).
Troopers obtained warrants on Kirkman and he was arrested without incident and lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center in Henderson.
