Trooper recognized by local EMS

Liberty, KY. (December 16, 2016) – Tpr. Adam Likins has been recognized by the Casey County Emergency Medical Service for "service to the community that was above and beyond the call of duty", according to EMS director, Malcolm Miller. Miller stated that on June 25, 2016 Tpr. Likins responded with EMS to a call of a man down. Tpr. Likins assisted the crew with equipment and climbed into the back of the ambulance to assist the crew with CPR and transportation of the patient to the hospital. He added that on September 29, 2016, Tpr. Likins was on the scene of a lost child that was found and that Likins rode with the child in the back of the ambulance to the hospital and stayed with the child until the family arrived.
Miller went on to say that "Tpr. Likins is obviously in the business to help his fellow man and to serve the community." Tpr. Likins is an 8 year veteran of the Kentucky State Police and is assigned to Post 15 in Columbia.
