Kentucky State Police Pursuit Leads to Arrest

(Frankfort, KY) - On Monday, February 1, 2016 at approximately 11:45 pm, Kentucky State Police observed a motorcycle on I-64 near the 43mm at a high rate of speed. The motorcycle also did not have a license plate. After an attempt to stop the motorcycle, the vehicle sped up and a pursuit began. The motorcycle took the exit at the 58mm, lost control and wrecked. A foot pursuit then began. A Trooper used his Taser and ended the foot pursuit.
The Motorcycle was a 2006 Suzuki being driving by Jordan T. Hammock, age 20, of Lexington, KY.
Jordan Hammock is being charged with Speeding, No/Expired Registration Plate, Non-Owner No Insurance, Fleeing and Evading 1st, Fleeing and Evading 2nd, Resisting Arrest, Possession Controlled Substance 1st (Cocaine), Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon, and Wanton Endangerment 1st. Jordan Hammock also had Warrants for his arrest out of Madison County. Jordan Hammock has been lodged at the Franklin County Jail.
Kentucky State Police were assisted at the scene by Frankfort Fire/EMS.
