Fourth Johnson County Flood Victim Recovered

(Flat Gap, KY) - Kentucky State Police, Post 09 Pikeville, can confirm a fourth flood victim has been located by the incident Search and Rescue Team.
In the evening hours of July 17, 2015, the Search and Rescue Team was notified regarding a possible location of the fourth victim along KY172. A member of the search team combing the area discovered what was believed to be the deceased body of an adult male. Troopers from Kentucky State Police, Post 09 responded to the scene and were able to positively identify the male as one of the missing persons from an active case currently being investigated by Post 09.
Johnson County Coroner J.R Frisby responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the recovery scene.
At the time of this information release, there are currently no individuals considered missing as a result of the Johnson County flood.
