Injury Collision on KY 36 in Bath County

(Bath County, KY) -- On Monday, June 29, 2015 Kentucky State Police in Morehead responded to an injury accident on KY 36 in Bath County. Upon arrival, Trooper Nathan Shortridge conducted an investigation into the collision. Lyndsey N. Spence, 20, of Mt. Sterling was traveling north on KY 36 operating a 2005 Scion, when she failed to negotiate a curve and crossed the center line. Ms. Spence crossed into the south bound lane colliding with Shelby Warren, 23, of Frenchburg. Mrs. Warren was traveling south, on KY 36, operating a 2014, Jeep Cherokee. Ms. Spence was transported to St. Joseph in Mt. Sterling and then to the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, where she is listed in stable condition. The collision remains under investigation by Trooper Nathan Shortridge.
