KSP, Richmond Post, Activity for July 2015

(Richmond, KY) -- The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is reporting the following activity for the month of July, 2015.
Troopers and Detectives issued a total of 2,092 citations, which included 191 for speeding, 27 for no child restraint and 295 for no seatbelts. There were 34 people arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Troopers issued 280 courtesy notices, assisted 67 stranded motorists, and investigated 60 traffic collisions while inspecting 1,474 vehicles. Detectives and Troopers also responded to and investigated 1,198 complaints, opened 78 criminal cases, and made 198 criminal arrests.
