KSP, Richmond Post, Activity for June 2015

(Richmond, KY) -- The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is reporting the following activity for the month of June, 2015.
Troopers and Detectives issued a total of 1,844 citations, which included 76 for speeding, 9 for no child restraint and 187 for no seatbelts. There were 24 people arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Troopers issued 256 courtesy notices, assisted 64 stranded motorists, and investigated 73 traffic collisions while inspecting 1,260 vehicles. Detectives and Troopers also responded to and investigated 1,264 complaints, opened 53 criminal cases, and made 438 criminal arrests.
