KSP, Richmond Post, Activity for March 2015

(Richmond, KY) -- The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is reporting the following activity for the month of March, 2015.
Troopers and Detectives issued a total of 1,281 citations, which included 81 for speeding, 4 for no child restraint and 91 for no seatbelts. There were 32 people arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Troopers issued 290 courtesy notices, assisted 118 stranded motorists, and investigated 58 traffic collisions while inspecting 1,180 vehicles. Detectives and Troopers also responded to and investigated 1,320 complaints, opened 59 criminal cases, and made 269 criminal arrests.
