KSP Charges Crab Orchard Man with Kidnapping
(Crab Orchard, KY.) - The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, was notified of a possible kidnapping that happened in Lincoln County at approximately 8:00 am today.
The initial investigation alleges that James Cash went to a females residence on KY 643 in Lincoln County and forced his way into her residence. The female claims that she was then assaulted and forced into his vehicle. During the incident, it is alleged that Cash produced a firearm and threatened to kill her. The female was able to exit the vehicle at the Dollar General in Crab Orchard, at which time the police were called. Cash was located and taken into custody by KSP Personnel at his residence on Old Richmond Road, in Crab Orchard.
As a result of the investigation, James E. Cash, 34 years old of Crab Orchard, was arrested at approximately 9:47 am and has been charged with Kidnapping of an Adult and Burglary 1st Degree. He is lodged at the Lincoln County Jail.
