One Killed in Trimble County Collision

(Bedford, KY) - The Kentucky State Police is investigating a single vehicle collision in Trimble County which resulted in a fatality.
On October 30th at approximately 6:48 p.m. Kentucky State Police Post 5 Campbellsburg received a call of a vehicle overturned on US 421 near the Trimble County High School. Troopers along with, Trimble County Sheriff's Office, Trimble County EMS, Bedford Fire Department, and Milton Fire Department responded to the scene.
Tammy Goff, 40 of Bedford, was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Trimble County Coroner. A 13 year old juvenile passenger was flown to Kosair Children's hospital by Air Methods with minor injuries. The 17 year old juvenile driver was treated at the scene, and later admitted to Kosair Children's Hospital. An adult passenger was treated and released at the scene.
Preliminary investigation shows the vehicle left the roadway, overcorrected, then overturned, the seat belt was not in use by the passenger that was ejected.
The collision remains under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
