Injury Collision on Raider Hollow Road

(Munfordville, KY) - The Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green responded to a report of a single vehicle injury collision on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at approx. 9:53 am near the 800 block of KY 1140 Raider Hollow Road in Hart County.

The preliminary investigation indicated that Paul Bruton (40) of Priceville was operating a 2002 Dodge pickup and was traveling northbound on Raider Hollow Road. For an unknown reason Bruton went off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree and a large rock causing the truck to rotate clockwise and strike another tree with the driver's side of the vehicle.

Mr. Bruton had to be extricated with the Jaws of Life by Munfordville Fire and Rescue where he was then transported by the Hart County EMS to meet with Air Methods to be flown to the University of Louisville Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

The investigation is still ongoing and being led by Trooper First Class Jonathan McChesney. He was assisted on the scene by Munfordville Fire and Rescue, Hart County EMS, and Air Methods.
