Update: Injury Collision on KY 263 in Warren County

Date of News Release: 01/30/2015

(Bowling Green, KY) - Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green was contacted by the Medical Examiners Office in Nashville, TN to advise us that David Johnson had succumbed to the injuries he sustained in the injury collision from earlier this date. Mr. Johnson was pronounced dead at approx. 11:15 am at the TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.

Mr. Johnson was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the collision and alcohol is believed to be a factor. The investigation is still ongoing and is being led by Trooper Ashcon Karbasi.

Injury Collision on KY 263 in Warren County

Date of News Release: 01/30/2015

(Bowling Green, KY) - On January 30, 2015 at approx. 3:14 am Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green received a call of an injury collision on KY 263 in Warren County.

The preliminary investigation indicated that David Johnson (22), of Bowling Green, was traveling southbound on KY 263 in a 2004 Ford, when he went off the right side of the roadway and lost control of the vehicle and overturned, where he was ejected.

Mr. Johnson was transported by Medcom to the Bowling Green Medical Center, where he was later flown by Air Methods to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
