Three Injured in a Collision on US 45 North

(Mayfield, Ky.) - Trooper Gordon responded to an accident with injuries on US 45 North at the Graves/McCracken Line. Larry Rudesill was operating a motor vehicle when he had a "coughing spell" and fainted. While he was unconscious, the vehicle went off the right side of the road and down an embankment. Rudesill regained consciousness just before the vehicle collided with a tree and came to final rest. His passenger, Berryetta Rudesill was in front seat and was injured. Margie Womble was in the backseat when she was thrown into the front of the vehicle and suffered injuries as well. Mr. & Mrs. Rudesill was transported by personal vehicle to Lourdes for treatment of injuries. Womble was transported to Lourdes Hospital for treatment of her injuries by EMS. Investigation continues by Trooper Johnson Gordon. Kentucky State Police was assisted on scene by Graves County Sheriff's Office, Melber Fire Dept., and Mayfield-Graves County EMS & Fire.
