Marion County Injury Collision

(Lebanon, KY.) - Tpr. Adam Mattingly is investigating a collision that occurred on Saturday, December 26th at 12:16 PM EDT on Salley Ray Pike, 8 miles west of Lebanon. 68-year-old Kathleen Cecil, of Raywick, was operating a southbound 2003 Pontiac when she failed to stop at a traffic control device due to weather conditions. The Pontiac traveled into the path of a 2004 Dodge operated by 24-year-old Matthew Hutchins, of Lebanon, that was traveling west on KY 412. The Dodge struck the Pontiac causing it to collide with a guardrail.
Both drivers were belted and not injured. A passenger in the Cecil vehicle, 66-year-old Mary M. Cecil was belted and was treated at Springview Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Passengers in the Hutchins vehicle, 47-year-old Jay Hutchins and 46-year-old Julie Hutchins were belted and not injured.
