Update: Missing Person Investigation in Grayson Kentucky

(Ashland, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police in Ashland is again asking for the public's assistance regarding the disappearance of Paul Clifton Sigman who has been missing since December 1, 2014.

On February 24, 2015 the Kentucky State Police in Ashland was contacted by a local bank in Carter County and advised Sabrina Sigman, mother to Paul Clifton Sigman, attempted to cash a tax return check in his name. Being aware Paul Sigman was considered missing the bank contacted the Kentucky State Police to report the incident.

Detective Jeff Kelley began an investigation into the complaint and during the course of the investigation was able to determine Sabrina Sigman had forged both State and Federal tax documents and had received tax refunds in her missing son's name.

Detective Kelley presented the investigation to a Carter County Grand Jury and arrest indictments for Forgery 1st Degree and Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument were issued.

On April 13, 2015 Troopers responded to 36 Stump Run Road in Grayson, KY in an attempt to execute the issued arrest warrants. During the execution of the arrest warrants Troopers located an active Methamphetamine lab and several methamphetamine precursors at the residence.

On April 13, 2015, Sabrina Sigman, age 48, of Grayson, KY, was arrested lodged in the Carter County Detention Center and charged with:

  • Forgery 1st Degree
  • Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree
  • Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense
  • Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Precursors 1st Offense
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Prescription Controlled Substance not in Proper Container

Missing Person Investigation in Grayson Kentucky

(Ashland, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police in Ashland is seeking the publics assistance regarding the disappearance of Paul Clifton Sigman who has been missing since December 1, 2014.

On Wednesday December 3, 2014 The Kentucky State Police in Ashland received a missing person report and began an investigation. It was reported Sigman left on foot from his residence and was last seen in the area of Stump Run Road in Grayson, Kentucky. Sigman is 30 years of age, approximately 6' 00" and weighs 170 lbs. He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie and blue jeans.

The Department of Emergency Management was contacted and multiple searches have been conducted in the area. Sigman's location is currently unknown, but he is entered as a missing person at this time.
