Isom Double Kwik Robbed

(Isom, KY) - The Isom Double Kwik convenience store in Letcher County was robbed early this morning (06/02/2015). Kentucky State Police Post 13 in Hazard received a call at around 3:45 a.m., advising of the robbery. Trooper Adam Hall was dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, Tpr. Hall spoke with the clerk who advised that a male subject wearing a ski mask had entered the store and insisted that she give him the money from the cash drawer. The employee complied with the subjects demands and gave him the cash. The unknown male subject took the money and fled the store on foot in an unknown direction. The subject was not located. He is described as being a white male, approximately five feet nine inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds. There is no other physical or clothing description other than a ski mask, and it is unknown if he had a weapon.
