KSP Stops Vehicle With A Rolling Methamphetamine Lab

(FRANKFORT, Ky.) - On March 31, 2015, at approximately 10:05pm, Kentucky State Police attempted to traffic stop a vehicle on Outlet Center Dr, Georgetown. Upon initiating the stop, the driver attempted to elude Troopers, striking a State Police Cruiser. The driver then fled on foot and was captured by State Police. An active methamphetamine lab was found in the black 2003 Ford Focus.
The driver and two passengers were decontaminated at the scene and transported by Georgetown /Scott County EMS to Georgetown Community Hospital for observation. Criminal Charges are pending.
Kentucky State Police were assisted at the scene by Scott County Sherriff's Office, Georgetown Police Department, Georgetown Fire Department, Georgetown /Scott County EMS, and Georgetown EMA-OHS.
The investigation is continuing by Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort.
