Sexual Exploitation Arrest in Laurel County

(LONDON, KY.) - Detectives from Post 11, London received a complaint in reference to an individual who attempted to solicit a minor to engage in sexual intercourse in Laurel County.
Through an investigation, Detective Justin Oliver learned that Boyd Wagers, 40, of London, had used his cell phone to commit this crime.
On Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at approximately 10:45 AM, Wagers was arrested and charged with Prohibited Use of Electronic Communication Device to Procure a Minor (Sex Offenses).
The electronic device was seized and will be sent for a full forensic examination.
Detective Justin Oliver continues the investigation and was assisted by KSP Detectives Nick Metcalf, Mark Allen, Brian Lewis, Trooper John Pratt and Trooper Stacy Walker.
