Drug Arrest in Knox County

(Artemus, Ky.) On February 4, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. Kentucky State Police, Post 10 Harlan received a call from Knox County 911 about a possible meth lab at a residence on T-Run Branch in the Artemus community of Knox County.
Troopers from Post 10 responded to the residence and located two individuals in the garage, both were the in process of manufacturing methamphetamine.
Tpr. Chris Pruitt arrested Shelia Brown, 26, of Artemus. Ms. Brown was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and giving police false name and address. Also arrested at the scene was Christopher Dailey, 31, of Artemus. Mr. Dailey was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (Meth), possession of drug paraphernalia 1st offense, and receiving stolen property under $500.00.
Both individuals were arrested and lodged in the Knox County Detention Center. Case is still under investigation by Tpr. Chris Pruitt. Also assisted at the scene were Tpr. Jason Partin, Tpr. Jay Sowders, and KSP Drug Enforcement Special Investigations.
