Robbery of the Bella's Gas & Go in Freeburn, KY

(Freeburn, Ky.) - On Thursday January 30, 2014 at 11:48 P.M. Post 9, Pikeville received a call of a robbery at Bella's Gas & Go in the Freeburn community of Pike County. Information obtained at the scene indicates that two unidentified males entered the business and demanded money. The two males fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash in the direction of the West Virginia state line. One male was described as wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, black pants and gloves. The second male was described as wearing a black sweatshirt with a fluorescent yellow baseball cap. There were no injuries reported at the time of the incident. The incident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Trooper Adam Wright.
