KSP, Richmond Post, Activity for October 2014

(Richmond, KY) -- The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is reporting the following activity for the month of October, 2014.
Troopers and Detectives issued a total of 1,046 citations of which 136 were for speeding, 4 for no child restraint and 51 for no seatbelts. There were a total of 11 individuals arrested for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Troopers issued 313 courtesy notices, and assisted 49 stranded motorists, while inspecting 1,059 vehicles.
Richmond Post investigated 70 traffic collisions in the month of October.
Detectives and Troopers investigated 1,037 complaints, opened 71 criminal cases, and made 154 criminal arrests.
