KSP, Richmond Post, Activity for June 2014

(Richmond, KY) -- Captain Greg Crockett, Post Commander of the Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is reporting the following activity for the month of June, 2014.
Troopers and Detectives issued a total of 1486 citations of which 127 were for speeding, 13 for no child restraint and 149 for no seatbelts. There were a total of 29 individuals arrested for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Troopers issued 459 courtesy notices, and assisted 60 stranded motorists, while inspecting 1403 vehicles.
Richmond Post investigated 57 traffic collisions in the month of June.
Detectives and Troopers investigated 1128 complaints, opened 82 criminal cases, and made 210 criminal arrests.
