KSP Arrests Rockcastle Woman for Bank Robbery

(Sand Gap, KY) - The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post has made an arrest of a Rockcastle woman, as part of an ongoing bank robbery investigation. Sabrina N. Hensley, 29 years old of Orlando, KY is charged with Robbery 2nd Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence. She was arrested today (05/31/2014) at 5:55 pm EDT, and is lodged at the Jackson County Detention Center. Hensley is alleged to have robbed the Jackson County Bank of Sand Gap by demanding money from teller. She then fled the scene in a vehicle that was waiting for her with an undisclosed amount of money.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Detective Rob Morris. He was assisted by KSP Post 7 and Post 11 personnel as well as the Mount Vernon Police Department.

KSP Investigates Jackson County Bank Robbery

(Sand Gap, KY) - The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is investigating a robbery of the Jackson County Bank in Sand Gap, KY that occurred this afternoon (05/29/2014) around 3:30 pm EDT. The initial investigation alleges that a female entered the bank and demanded that a bank teller give her money. The bank teller complied with her demands, at which time she fled the scene and got in the passenger seat of a vehicle that was waiting for her across the street. The vehicle appears to be a gold or silver 4 door passenger car and was last seen traveling toward US 421. The suspect was wearing what appeared to be a pink or orange shirt and a light colored ball cap during the robbery.
