Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, Activity for April 2014

Captain Greg Crockett, Post Commander of the Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is reporting the following activity for the month of April, 2014.
Troopers and Detectives issued a total of 2044 citations of which 278 were for speeding, 10 for no child restraint and 208 for no seatbelts. There were a total of 30 individuals arrested for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Troopers issued 458 courtesy notices, and assisted 79 stranded motorists, while inspecting 2211 vehicles.
Richmond Post investigated 45 traffic collisions in the month of April.
Detectives and Troopers investigated 1154 complaints, opened 68 criminal cases, and made 282 criminal arrests.
