Three Arrested for Trafficking Heroin in Carroll County

(Sanders, KY) - Three people were arrested yesterday (5/12) after Troopers discovered they were trafficking heroin out of a home at 2419 Ghent Eagle South in Sanders, KY. Troopers from KSP Post 5 went to the home to serve a warrant for Possession of Marijuana on Joshua Smith, 21 years old from Sanders, KY. Once in the home, Troopers located Smith along with drug related paraphernalia. A search warrant was obtained and during the search of the home, Troopers discovered heroin, syringes, six marijuana plants, and other drug paraphernalia. The three that were arrested - Joshua Smith, Aaron Johnson, 26 years old from Sanders, KY, and Sydney Carder, 19 years old from Sanders, KY - were charged with Trafficking Heroin, Cultivation of Marijuana – 5 Plants or More, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. All three were lodged at the Carroll County Detention Center.
