Oldham County Man Arrested for Indoor Marijuana Grow

(Goshen, KY) - An Oldham County man was arrested this morning after Troopers found an indoor marijuana grow in his home at 2614 Shiloh Lane in Goshen, KY. Troopers from KSP Post 5 went to the home of Rodney Cox, 51 years old from Goshen, KY, after receiving a tip that marijuana was being grown in the home. Once in the residence, Troopers found four marijuana plants growing in the basement. They also found six plants growing in a closet in one of the bedrooms of the home. In addition to the plants, Troopers discovered nine ounces of processed marijuana, digital scales, and other drug paraphernalia. Cox was charged with Trafficking in Marijuana, 8 ounces - 5 lbs., 2nd offense, Cultivating Marijuana 5 Plants or More, 1st Offense, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Cox was lodged at the Oldham County Detention Center.
