Two Arrests Made In Brandenburg Armed Robbery

(BRANDENBURG, KY.) - On Monday, April 14, 2014 KSP Post 4 received an anonymous tip identifying two suspects involved with the robbery of a Brandenburg convenience store. The Friendly Food Mart on Broadway Street was robbed on April 6, 2014 by two men armed with a knife. The two men fled the scene after taking the cash drawer containing an unknown amount of money from the clerk. The suspects were identified from pictures taken from the store's video surveillance cameras and later released by the Media. Derik Walker (35) of Shepherdsville, and David Stearman (31) of Brandenburg, were both charged with Robbery 1st and lodged in the Meade Co. Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing and is being handled by KSP Detective Aaron Gabhart. KSP was assisted by the Brandenburg Police Dept.

KSP Looking For Help In Locating/Identifying Suspects

(BRANDENBURG, KY.) - Kentucky State Police Post 4 in Elizabethtown is asking for help from the public in locating and identifying two suspects wanted in relation to an armed robbery in Brandenburg. On Sunday, April 6, 2014 at approximately 7:50 P.M. EST two unidentified white males entered the Friendly Food Mart on Broadway Street and brandished a knife. The two men then took the cash drawer containing an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene. Witnesses at the scene stated the two men fled in an unknown older model pickup truck. The truck is described as primer gray with a black hood and a cracked windshield. Anyone with any information is asked to contact local law enforcement of KSP Post 4 at 270-766-5078.
