Pursuit Leads To Several Charges for Eastview Man

(ELIZABETHTOWN, KY.) - On Sunday, March 2, 2014 at approximately 9:00 P.M. EST Kentucky State Police Post 4 received a call regarding a possible hit and run accident on northbound I-65 at approximately the 91 mile marker. Troopers made contact with the suspect vehicle and after a brief pursuit were able to get the vehicle stopped on Hawkins Dr. in Elizabethtown. Justin S. Gibson (29) of Eastview, was arrested and charged with the following: DUI - 2nd offense (aggravated), Resisting Arrest, Menacing, Failure to Produce Insurance Card, Disorderly Conduct - 2nd Degree, Terroristic Threatening - 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief - 3rd Degree, Speeding - 26 MPH or More Over, Leaving The Scene Of An Accident, Wanton Endangerment - 1st Degree – Motor Vehicle, Failure to or Improper signal, Disregarding Stop Sign, Driving Too Fast For Conditions, Failure To Wear Seatbelt. KSP was assisted on the scene by the Elizabethtown Police Department. Mr. Gibson was lodged in the Hardin Co. Det. Ctr. Trooper Josh Cummings is handling the investigation.
