Collision Leads to Felony Drug Arrest in Hart County

(Bowling Green, KY) - On February 25, 2014 at 11:07 p.m, Kentucky State Police Post 03 responded to an injury collision in the city limits of Munfordville, KY in reference to a single vehicle collision. Cody Wills, (19) of Smiths Grove, was operating his 2006 Chevrolet Passenger car. Mr. Wills exited I-65 NB and failed to stop at the end of the exit ramp. Mr. Wills vehicle traveled across both lanes of travel on US 31-W and struck a steel pole. Mr. Wills and a passenger, Shawn Chapman, where both transported to Caverna Memorial Hospital where they where treated and released. A second passenger, Crystal Doyle (21) of Cave City, was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital where she was treated and released. The third passenger, a juvenile, was flown to Vanderbilt with non-life threatening injuries.
During the investigation of the collision, two meth labs where located in the vehicle. The three adult occupants where all charged with: Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st offense, Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursors 1st offense, Drug Paraphernalia, Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st offense (Complicity), Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursors 1st offense (Complicity), Drug Paraphernalia (Complicity).
In addition Cody Wills was additionally charged with three Counts of Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree and DUI 1st offense (aggravated).
The investigation is being led by Trooper Raymond Chambers. Trooper Chambers was assisted on scene by Trooper Jeremy Smith, Trooper Graham Rutherford, KSP DESI, Hart County EMS, Munfordville Fire Dept., and Hart County Sheriffs Dept.
