Post 2 Trooper Honored For DUI Enforcement Efforts

Madisonville, KY – On Tuesday, December 16, the 2014 Governor's Impaired Driving Enforcement Awards ceremony was held in Lexington, KY. This ceremony highlights National Drunk and Drugged Driving Prevention Month which occurs in December. Law enforcement officers from across the Commonwealth were recognized for their efforts to remove impaired drivers from Kentucky roadways.

Trooper Jonathan McGehee, from KSP Post 2 Madisonville, was recognized at this ceremony for his outstanding job performance to remove impaired drivers from our roads. For the enforcement period, which ran from October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014, Tpr. McGehee arrested 67 impaired drivers.

Tpr. McGehee is a native of Bremen, KY. He graduated from Muhlenberg North High School in 2004. Tpr. McGehee began his career with the KSP in April of 2010. He is currently assigned to Muhlenberg County.
