Two Arrested for Drug Charges in Drakesboro

Drakesboro, KY (Muhlenberg County) - The Kentucky State Police locate drugs in a residence while serving a warrant.

On Friday, October 3, 2014, at 9:10 p.m., Trooper Jonathan McGehee and Trooper Jacob Fortney responded to Ditney Hill Road to locate Ronald Dillard, 43, to attempt to serve an indictment warrant. Upon their arrival, Mr. Dillard was seen sitting at a table with drugs, digital scales, and drug paraphernalia in front of him. Mr. Dillard ran to the bathroom in an attempt to destroy evidence. He was apprehended without incident and the evidence was recovered.

Troopers obtained and executed a search warrant on the residence during the early morning hours of October 4th. Approximately 8 grams of crystal meth, 10 grams of marijuana, scales, and drug paraphernalia were seized.

Trooper McGehee arrested Mr. Dillard and charged him with the following:

  1. Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (< or = 2 grams Meth)
  2. Possession of Marijuana
  3. Tampering with Physical Evidence
  4. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  5. Execution of an Indictment Warrant (Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense – Drug Unspecified)

Also arrested was Lisa Oldham, 49, of Greenville, KY. She was charged with the following:

  1. Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 3rd or Greater Offense (Meth)
  2. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  3. Execution of a Local Warrant

Both subjects were lodged in the Muhlenberg County Jail.

The Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office assisted on scene.
