Single Vehicle Injury Collision On US 62

Central City, KY (Muhlenberg County) - The Kentucky State Police investigated a single-vehicle, injury collision that occurred on US 62, approximately 3 miles east of Central City, on Thursday, September 11, 2014, at 8:01 a.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Megan Cisco, 30, of Central City, was operating a 2009 Toyota Camry westbound on US 62 when she lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a curve on the wet roadway. The vehicle exited the left shoulder of the roadway and struck an earth embankment. It overturned and struck a tree. The vehicle came to rest on its top off the roadway.

Ms. Cisco was transported via ambulance to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment. She was wearing a seatbelt. There were no passengers involved.

Trooper Craig Engler investigated the collision. KSP CVE Sgt. Del Miller, the Central City Fire Department, and Muhlenberg County EMS assisted at the scene.
