St. Louis Man Charged With Receiving Stolen Property

Marion, KY (Crittenden County) - The Kentucky State Police has charged a St. Louis man with receiving stolen property after recovering a stolen vehicle.
On Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at 10:53 a.m., the Kentucky State Police Post 2 Madisonville received a call in reference to a stolen vehicle, a 2004 GMC Envoy, which had been reported stolen from Paducah this morning. The stolen vehicle was possibly in the area of KY 91 near the ferry boat ramp. Trooper First Class Darron Holliman responded to the area to attempt to locate the vehicle.
Tfc. Holliman located the vehicle on KY 91 and conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of KY 135 and Flannery Road. At 11:36 a.m., Tfc. Holliman arrested John P. Hallows, 39, of St. Louis, MO, and charged him with the following offenses:
- Receiving Stolen Property $10,000 or More (C Felony)
- Possession of Marijuana (B Misdemeanor)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (A Misdemeanor)
- Operating On A Suspended/Revoked License (B Misdemeanor)
He was lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.
