Henderson Woman Charged with Forgery and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card

Madisonville, KY (Hopkins County) - The Kentucky State Police has charged a Henderson woman with Forgery 2nd and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.
On Sunday, March 16, 2014, at approximately 7:30 a.m., Trooper First Class John Komar arrested Tiffany R. Myers, 24, of Henderson, KY, at the Henderson County Detention Center. Ms. Myers was charged with 11 counts of Forgery 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, a Class A Misdemeanor.
An investigation began on March 10, 2014, after the KSP was contacted by the victim. The victim stated that someone had stolen checks from his residence and had been using them at various businesses in Hopkins and Webster County. During the investigation it was determined that Ms. Myers had stolen a credit card and checks from another subject in Henderson County. Ms. Myers used the checks and credit cards in Hopkins County. She remains lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center. The case remains under investigation. Trooper Komar was assisted on the investigation by the Henderson Police Department.
