Dawson Springs Woman Charged with Wanton Endangerment

Dawson Springs, KY (Caldwell County) - The Kentucky State Police has charged a Dawson Springs woman with wanton endangerment.
On Saturday, February 1, 2014, at approximately 10:30 p.m., the KSP Post 2 Madisonville received a call to conduct a welfare check at a residence located on White School Road, Dawson Springs. The address is physically located in Caldwell County, but has a Dawson Springs address.
Upon arrival, Trooper Nathan Craft and Trooper Jonathan Murphy made contact with Rachelle M. Robinson, 30 of Dawson Springs, KY. Ms. Robinson appeared to be heavily intoxicated. She and her three-year-old child were alone at the residence.
The Caldwell County Department for Community Based Services was contacted and took custody of the child. The child was then released to the father. The child was not injured.
Trooper Craft arrested and charged Ms. Robinson with the following offense:
Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree (D Felony)
She was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
