Traffic Stop Leads to Felony Drug Arrest

Lacy, KY (Christian County) - The Kentucky State Police arrested an Elkton man on drug-related charges.

On Saturday, February 1, 2014, at approximately 9:43 p.m., Trooper Jeff Ayres, Trooper Curtis Crick, Trooper Ryan Fox, Deputy White and K-9 Deputy Greene conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Greenville Road. The vehicle matched the description from an earlier complaint in Todd County.

During the traffic stop, suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was located on the person of the accused, Stephen G. Lamb, 47 of Elkton, KY. Mr. Lamb was arrested without incident.

Trooper Ayres charged Mr. Lamb with the following offenses:

  1. Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 2nd Offense - Meth
  2. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

He was lodged in the Christian County Detention Center.
