KSP makes Drug Arrest in Marshall County

(Benton, KY) – The Kentucky State Police arrested Stanley N. Anderson, 55 of Benton, for Cultivating in Marijuana 5 plants or more (Class D Felony), and Tampering With Physical Evidence (Class D Felony). Anderson was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
The charges stem from a drug investigation conducted by the Kentucky State Police. On July 25, 2014, KSP seized 11 marijuana plants with a street value of $22,000 and two four wheelers from Anderson's property. A KSP helicopter was flying over the property, when Anderson came out of his residence and attempted to destroy the marijuana. The helicopter was able to land in a field allowing troopers to detain Anderson.
