Drug Arrest After Traffic Stop in Hancock County

(Henderson, KY.) - Trooper Gaither initiated a traffic Stop on Carrie May, who was operating a 2004 Toyota Corolla in the Duke Community of Hancock County for improper vehicle equipment violation. Investigation at the scene revealed that May was in possession of methamphetamine, meth precursors, prescription medications and drug paraphernalia. During the course of the investigation, May admitted to selling her prescription pseudoephedrine pills for profit to subject that had intent to unlawfully manufacture methamphetamine. May was arrested at the scene and lodged into Breckinridge County Detention Center . KSP was assisted at the scene by Cannelton Police Department's K-9 Unit.
Carrie R. May was charged with Poss Cont Sub 1st Degree, 1st Off (Methamphetamine), Unlawful Distribution Of Meth Precursor, 1st Offense, Drug Paraphernalia-Buy/Possess, Poss Cont Sub 3rd Degree-Drug Unspecified, Improper Equipment, Failure To Produce Insurance Card.
