Green County Injury Collision

(Greensburg, KY.) - Tpr. Jonathan Houk is investigating a collision that occurred today in the area of Pitman Creek on KY 61 North in Green County. 43-year-old Randall Dobson was operating a 2002 Bus when he rear ended a 2008 Bus operated by 46-year-old Frankie Dobson. That bus was pushed into a 2000 Ford Pickup operated by 63-year-old Bennie Montgomery. The 2002 bus was then struck in the rear by a 2007 Bus operated by William Jewell. All drivers are from Green County and were wearing seatbets. Randall Dobson and Bennie Montgomery were transported to Jane Todd Hospital to be treated for non life threatening injuries.

Collectively, approximately 90-100 students were being transported and 36 students were transported to Jane Todd Hospital where they are being treated and released. The names of those students have not yet been released. Green County EMS, Fire, Sheriff's Department, Summersville Fire Department and the Taylor and Adair County Rescue/EMS assisted at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
