Marion County Injury Collision

(Lebanon, KY.) - Tpr. John Boyd is investigating a collision that occurred Friday, May 10 at 5:59 PM EDT, 1 mile east of Lebanon on US 68. 58-year-old Connie Bradshaw, of Bardstown, was operating a 2005 Honda Civic, traveling west, when she attempted to avoid a 2005 GMC SUV that was also westbound and slowing to make a turn into a private drive. Bradshaw attempted to avoid the collision by passing on the shoulder but sideswiped the GMC before getting the vehicle stopped in a yard.
The GMC was operated by 65-year-old Sandra Blandford, of Lebanon. Blandford was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured. Bradshaw was also wearing a seatbelt but was transported to Spring View Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Tpr. Boyd was assisted at the scene by the Marion County Sheriff's Department, Marion County EMS, Fire and Rescue.
