KSP Arrests Four Subjects for Drug Trafficking in Scott County

(Frankfort, KY) - On October 13, 2014, Kentucky State Police conducted a traffic stop in Scott County from which four subjects were arrested and charged with drug trafficking.

Kentucky State Police conducted a traffic stop of a 2006 Jeep traveling northbound on I75 near the 121 mile marker. The driver of the vehicle, David Ellis, age 23, of Inkster, MI, was arrested and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Offense, Trafficking in Marijuana Less Than 8oz 1st Offense, Operating a Motor Vehicle on a Suspended License, Expired Registration, No Insurance and No Registration Receipt.

Three passengers were also arrested. Matthew Partin, age 21, of Pineville, KY was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Offense, Trafficking in Marijuana Less Than 8oz 1st Offense and Public Intoxication. Nichole Pritchard, age 34, of Middlesboro, KY, was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Offense and Trafficking in Marijuana Less Than 8oz 1st Offense. David Moss, age 34, of Inkster, MI, was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Offense, and Trafficking in Marijuana Less Than 8oz 1st Offense.

All four subjects were transported to the Scott County Detention Center.
