Lexington Man Charged With Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute

(Frankfort, KY) - April 8, 2014, Detectives from the Kentucky State Police, Post 12, Frankfort and the Scott County Sheriff's Office conducted an investigation involving the illegal trafficking of heroin in Scott and Fayette Counties.
Kentucky State Police and Scott County Deputies identified Norshawn Michael Duplessis, age 39, of Detroit, MI, residing part time in Lexington, KY, as a suspect of heroin trafficking in Scott and Fayette counties.
On April 9, 2014 a search warrant was executed at the suspect's residence on Garden Springs Drive, Lexington. Officers seized over 11 ounces of heroin, approximately 9 grams of cocaine, drug packaging paraphernalia, a handgun, and over $57,500 in cash. The heroin seized from Duplessis' residence has an estimated street value of over $44,000.
Norshawn Michael Duplessis was charged with Possession of Heroin with the Intent to Distribute and lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.
