Methamphetamine Lab Arrest in Whitley County

(LONDON, KY.) - On Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at approximately 1:18 AM, Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received an anonymous tip about several subjects manufacturing methamphetemine at a residence with several small children inside on Watts Creek Road in Whitley County.

Upon arrival Trooper Leslie Moses observed an active methamphetamine lab on the back porch of the residence in plain view. After contacting the residents inside, consent to search was obtained and troopers located several baggies of suspected methamphetamine and digital scales along with a backpack containing items commonly used to manufacture methamphetamine.

Two small children were located inside the residence and troopers contacted Whitley County Social Services. The children were placed in protective custody and transported to Baptist Health Corbin Hospital as a precautionary measure and later released.

Arrested were:

Trisha L. Rodgers, 24, of Bremen, OH and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, two counts of Controlled Substance Endangerment to Child 4th Degree. Rodgers was also charged with being a fugitive from the state of Ohio.

Phillip B. Lee, 28, of Thurston, OH and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, two counts of Controlled Substance Endangerment to Child 4th Degree.

Kelly K. Rodgers, 51, of Bremen, OH and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, two counts of Controlled Substance Endangerment to Child 4th Degree.

Roy E. Rodgers, 54, of Lancaster, OH and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, two counts of Controlled Substance Endangerment to Child 4th Degree.

All four were lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.
