Non-Compliant Sex Offender Arrested in Harlan County

(Closplint, Ky.) - On September 18, 2014 Kentucky State Police, Post Harlan was contacted by the Harlan County Parole Probation Office about an non-compliant sex offender living in Harlan County. Detective Craig Miller began an investigation. Through the investigation it was determined that Joshua Osborne, 26, of Closplint was not living at the correct address he was registered with. Det. Miller obtained an arrest warrant for Mr. Osborne on September 23, 2014.
On October 1, 2014 Trooper Jared Boggs located and arrested Mr. Osborne for failure to comply with sex offender registration 1st offense. He was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center.
